Rework and Modernization of Outdated Entertainment Centers and Systems

Beginning in the 1980’s, building contractors started including built-in Entertainment Centers designed to incorporate a Television and home electronics in a Family Room/Great Room. While these built-in units might have worked great at the time the house was built, they become outdated over time and unable to accommodate new televisions and entertainment equipment.

Up through the middle 2000’s, the two dominant form factors for TVs were square CRT (tube) televisions and bulky floor-standing rear projection televisions. In 2013, these television types are no longer available having been replaced with widescreen flat-panel and slim, shelf-mounted DLP televisions. This change in technology has left homeowners with the dilemma of trying to fit a rectangular peg in a square hole in their built-in wall unit.

With our design capability, we are able to present customers with options as to how we could update and rework the built-in wall unit while we update their Entertainment Systems. Once they have made their choice, we are able to use our build capability to renovate the wall unit and then install their updated Entertainment System.

Premier Electronic Solutions is currently the only company operating in Brevard County that both updates wall-units and installs Entertainment Systems.
